The West Central Activities Conference (WCAC) held its annual Art Conference this past Monday at Madrid High School.  Sixteen students went to the event to view student artwork from all schools in the activities conference.  Fourteen WA students submitted pieces for the event and a breakdown of notable results are outlined below.

More after the jump.

As a part of the art conference, workshops were held on a variety of different artistic styles.  WA students attended the graffiti workshop and a pottery demonstration.  This summer, the art department is going to continue to offer a traditional art course along with expanded vocational screen printing activities.  Student work will also be displayed at the annual Des Moines Arts Festival that is held in June.

Below is a display of the WA student work that scored well at the event.
