Powerlifting // New equipment
The weight room that has garnered 7 USA Powerlifting High School National Championships and 15 individual National Champions has received a bit of an upgrade. New to this season, two Power Lift Combo Power Racks were purchased and now serve as the primary equipment to prepare this year's lifters for competition. The new equipment was purchased from a local Iowa company, which is one of the premier suppliers of weight lifting equipment in the United States. They supply top universities (Iowa State, Nebraska, Ohio State), and now Woodward Academy, with top of the line equipment. This year's season continues into April where the team will travel to Denver, CO to compete in the USAPL High School National Championships.
